Taking Stock -- Midway through the New-Trawl Zone

So, four years post receiving my mysterious "calling" to a spiritual journey (about the fourth one that I can remember so far) and three years post my world turning upside down in the second personally disastrous business failure within the same decade (1992-1998 and 1998-2003, respectively, may they R.I.P.), there is some light beginning to peak through the new, unrecognizable landscape in which I've landed myself. For the first time in years, it's beginning to excite and arouse my interested curiousity.

The stars are telling me to take stock and, thanks to Mr. William Bridges' work on transistions, I may have hit the midway point in the transition/regeneration process I commenced in 2003 - - once I began to know what I hadn't known before and my loved ones were out of danger of physical level heirarchical needs.

Sounds cliche and maybe trite, but that's why they are cliches?!

1. When life gives you lemons, . . .

2. It appears that, although the patient in fact died, the Operation was a success, dear Doctor.

3. Thank you Mr. Johnny Hitler (not his real last name and no relation to Adolph, that I know of, without dna testing which ... Good Luck getting THAT from him),.. Thank you for the opportunity to learn all of these unwanted lessons and disillusioning ideas (I'd always assumed that disillusionment was a BAD thing).

It was early morning yesterday,
and I awoke before the dawn.
I really have enjoyed my stay,
but I must be moving on.

It occurs to me that with this tiny bit of light beginning its "shining through," it may be the harbinger of a quickening toward the next phase of the journey started in May 2002 BBB (Before Brother Bailed).

Whatever that next phase may be. . .

. . . the clarification of which shall be revealed before this Transition to Regeneration shall be declared complete.

Odd yet amazing things seem to be afoot just beyond eyesight, out there in the floating debris -- the flotsam and jetsom of prior uninformed choices. Thank god for my life-jacket. . .

Pay heed and look alive, my dear Watson!

Next time --
Another Brother's Return to F.o.O. Work! Mr. Milman, what is it you say about spiritual journeys?
