New trend = shifting to a completely new game

As I begin to shift into the next phase of this mortal coil, it is said that "it's a whole new game with a whole new set of rules."  It's apparently my job to figure out the name of the game and what the rules are.  I think I've learned the name of the game, "TAKE KINDLY THE COUNSEL OF THE YEARS, GRACEFULLY SURRENDERING THE THINGS OF YOUTH."  I'm reading "The Untethered Soul" which ties nicely into this theme and gives a lot of info on the new "rules," from a metaphysical perspective. . . . .

Said Californy is the place y'oughta be! . . .

(Drafted on 1/27/2011) -- Just passin' through on a reference from Linda Clare (she [Godsong Grace] suggests Bookshelf Muse). Found this is STILL here and it's been less than a year since I was here. A ton of stuff has gone on since then, I tell you. Most notably I've changed my address to California for awhile, looking for work and romance. The romance has fallen through and the work hasn't happened. But the climate agrees with me....

Track and Field -- 400 Meter Layout

Every wonder how they build the track at a track and field event? Me neither, until I started running around in the bark-mulch trail out back and wondered how it compared to the specifically designed distances at, say, the local high-school or community college track.

Wonder no more! Here's a cool link for a design company that handles all the details and dimensions.

STILL TRANSITIONING - MOMENTUM BUILDING

I was thinking about this space off and on lately, with all of the hoopla about having personal info on the net. Didn't get disturbed enough to do anything about it but just came by after a friend referred me to his baseball site and couldn't get past it without saying hi. Might have more work to do here but have been actually writing my stuff for a couple of irl writers' groups here in town. Lots of stuff has changed since September.
